Interpreting in Health and Human Services Program

1. The Interpreting Program offers a certificate of completion. To obtain the certificate, the student needs to complete 269 hours (five classes) with 80% or more and a 45-hour practicum in one of our partner healthcare facilities.


2. Classes can be taken face-to-face or online and are offered spring, summer, and fall semesters!


3. To begin the program student must complete the HRD Intro to Interpreting class as an orientation


4. Program is for persons who are already fluent in English and Spanish


5. The program is geared toward English/Spanish medical interpreting and is not currently for other languages
