Students are eligible to be a part of the TRiO Student Support Services program if one of the following criteria applies to them; the student is receiving the PELL grant (FREE federal funds received after filling out FASFA), the student is first-generation (Neither parent graduated with a bachelor's degree before the student turned 18), or the student is registered with Accessibility Resources (Formally known as Disability Services).
Students must maintain a good academic standing with a 2.5 GPA and if below 2.5 must have an academic success plan created. Students should also be actively participating in TRiO events/activities and keeping in touch with their program counselor.
Since TRiO Student Support Services is only able to have 140 students at a time, we may have to wait list a student until a seat becomes available. Students who are on the waitlist still have access to most of the services provided by TRiO Student Support Services including: access to the TRiO lounge/lab, workshops, etc.
